IF@ULB is a European postdoctoral programme, COFUNDed by the Université libre de Bruxelles and the European Commission within the framework of MARIE SKŁODOWSKA-CURIE actions (H2020).
The programme will enable ULB to recruit 63 international postdoctoral researchers between 2018 and 2023, in 3 calls.
At each call, IF@ULB will offer 21 positions in one of the ULB research centres. The positions are open to researchers in all fields, according to a bottom up approach.
Among the possible destinations for interested researchers is the Institut d’études européennes at the ULB (IEE-ULB). A Jean Monnet Center of Excellence, the IEE-ULB is a leading research institute in European Affairs with over 80 academic and scientific staff members engaged in research on one or more of its research dimensions among which: (1) The EU as a community of values and standards, (2) the EU as a community of socia-economic governance, (3) the EU as a community of freedom, justice and security, and (4) the EU and the World. Research along all four of these dimensions is conducted in an interdisciplinary fashion involving (i) economics, (ii) history, (iii) political science, (iv) international relations and (v) legal scholarship. Potential post-doctoral candidates are therefore welcome to apply within any of the four research cluster and from any of the five disciplinary vantage points. Interested parties are therefore invited to consult the IEE-ULB webpage to both select the sepcifoc research cluster the applicant’s project might fit into as well as identify a possible academic supervisor among the over 40 academics attached to the IEE (see list HERE).
Deadline for 1st wave of Applications (out of three): 15th October 2018
This project receives funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Grant Agreement No 722826.
