The first joint conference of the GEM-STONES and GEM PhD School saw the doctoral fellows and representatives from all Consortium member institutions gather together for the first time.

The conference programme included a variety of closed activities – notably Supervisory Board meetings, workshops and trainings – but also offered a chance for interested third parties to learn more about the project. Students, reseachers and academics were warmly welcome to attend:

with presentations by the 15 GEM-STONES doctoral fellows, and discussions led by GEM fellows.
