Jean-Frédéric Morin is associate professor at the Political Science Department of Laval University (Québec City, Canada). Before being invited by Laval University to hold the Canada Research Chair in Internaitonal Political Economy, Jean-Frédéric Morin was professor of international relations at the Free University of Brussels from 2008 to 2014 and post-doctoral researcher at McGill University from 2006 to 2008. His most recent research projects look at global institutional complexes, transnational expert networks and policy diffusion in the fields of trade, intellectual property and environment. His publications have appeared in some of the leading journals of the field, including International Studies Quarterly, Review of International Studies, European Journal of International Relations, International Studies Review, International Interactions,Global Governance, British Journal of Politics and International Relations, and Review of International Political Economy.
